A digital garden is a place where you can store knowledge, create new ideas, and connect different topics.

It’s more than a collection of folders to store everything that interests you, like in the second brain. It’s a place where you connect things to create something bigger. You can see it as a network thinking tool, where you jump from one idea to another, from concept to concept. The first time it happened to me was an awesome experience. I spent several hours reading the same blog because the connections were so good, so varied.

It aims at recreating the way we think, which is very messy in nature. The mind wanders and creates connections between topics that have nothing to do with one another in the beginning. And that’s how we obtain serendipity.
